"Louis-Farrakhaning" Obama

And now from the Republican to the Democratic race. I’m registered as an “independent” in Maryland so I won’t be able to vote in the Democratic primary even if I wanted (and I don’t). I’ve read a lot about Barack Obama and while I don’t share his views on many issues, I certainly applaud his anti-Iraq-War position (although, again, I’m not sure about his overall foreign policy agenda). And I can’t stand Hillary with her I’m-entitled-to-be-President-and-I-really-care-about-you mode and Obama is really “cool.” So I probably would have voted for him. My guess is that the Clintons are in panic now as they are continuing to spread the allegations that Obama is a “Muslim,” like the one I received through the internet which was emailed to many American-Jewish voters:
Who is Barack Obama?

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu , Hawaii , to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel , Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHIEST from Wichita , Kansas .

Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii . When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya . His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia . When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia . Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta . He also spent two years in a Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school."

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education.

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his, stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta . Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking Major public office in the United States , Barack Hussein Obama hasm joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.

ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Kuran (Their equivalency to our Bible, but very different beliefs)

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy. The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States , one of their own!!!!

Please forward to everyone you know. Would you want this man leading our country?...... NOT ME!!
If you do not ever forward anything else, please forward this to all your contacts.........this is very scary to think of what lies ahead of us here in our own United States ........ better heed this and pray about it and share it.
THIS DEFINITELY WARRANTS LOOKING INTO. THIS COUNTRY WAS FOUNDED, "ONE NATION UNDER GOD". ALMIGHTY GOD, NOT THE GOD OF THE KORAN.

Yuccks...You have to be a reall idiot to take seriously these garbage/ ugly rumors which have been dealt with in an article in the Washington Post. But as we move to the Democratic primaries in Florida, New York and California watch our as the Clinton attempt to “Louis-Farrakhaning", insinuating that he is “Muslim,” “anti-Israeli” and “anti-Semite.”
Update: Richard Cohen in the Washington Post: Obama's Farrakhan Test. Based on that logic, Democratic presidential candidates who are Catholics should "distance" themselves from the Pope (and their local church) on abortion and gay marriage. And I'm not sure what is the position of Joe Liebrman's Rabbi on the Jewish settlements, Jerusalem, etc.

In December 2006 someone where I work brought up the question of Barack Obama's religion. I didn't know, so I looked it up and put together a blogpost, What is Barack Obama's Religion. Somehow it floated into the Google clouds and came to the top of searches for that information.

Over the year that one post took upwards of forty percent of all my hits. (Not really all that many because my little blog is not very busy...probably less than two hundred a day for that item.)

The day after the Iowa caucus interest spiked to nearly two thousand hits, about ninety percent looking at that one item. I expected it to taper off going into New Hampshire, but it didn't. For two days I had twenty-five hundred hits a day...nearly all of them curious about Obama's religion. Interest is now waning, but Obama's religion is still on the minds of a lot of people.

That's my little fifteen minutes of attention in the blog world, but if anyone is curious, the post and some fifty-plus comments left over the course of a year make interesting reading.

And you're right. The disinformation machine keeps on rolling. As late as a couple of days ago someone left a comment indicating he still thought Obama was a Muslim.

The Democrats are screwing up HUGELY by not backing John Edwards for President.

Alot of people simply will not vote for Hillary or Obama in the general election, period. Edwards could have actually beaten the Republicans.

Edwards would have been the most electable of the Democrats. The Republicans will really have to gaffe to lose to someone as automatically unlikeable as Hillary, or someone who wrote a kooky book that commentators like Steve Sailer have psychoanalyzed and found the author seriously wanting in his love for the majority of this nation therein.

Luntz, Rove, and the gang have to be secretely very optomistic that they can beat Hillary or Obama.

Thanks for the comments and for the link to the blogpost. I'm quite certain that the Clintons and Company are going to get aggressive on this issue through leaks, etc. in the coming days, especially if Hillary loses support in the polls.
